Raised in Libertyville, IL, Dr. Green began her journey at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where she earned dual degrees in Finance and Economics. After working in investment banking in mergers and acquisitions, she followed her passion for health and human connection to medicine. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Loyola University Chicago’s Stritch School of Medicine, a respected medical school emphasizing evidence-based, patient-centered care, and completed her Family Practice residency at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL. Dr. Green has practiced in both Wisconsin and Illinois, providing adult and pediatric care and serving communities across primary, preventative, and integrative medicine. In addition to her clinical work, she continues to sharpen her acute care skills by practicing Emergency Medicine, giving her a broad understanding of health, illness, and healing. Her clinical focus spans a wide range of wellness domains, including: Functional and Precision Medicine, Functional Immunology and Longevity Medicine, peptides and advanced therapeutic approaches, psychedelic integration and mental health support, nutrition, lifestyle, and holistic wellness guidance, plus adult and pediatric preventive care. Her personal journey with recovery from post-viral syndrome deepened her commitment to functional medicine principles — finding root causes rather than masking symptoms. Her approach blends scientific rigor, clinical experience, and a deep respect for the whole person. Dr. Green believes in reducing medication burden when appropriate, prioritizing lifestyle-based prevention, and crafting care plans tailored to each patient’s unique biology and life goals. She is passionate about serving her community and helping people move beyond healthcare frustration to lasting health and well-being.
For more than a decade, Dr. Lauren Towle has served patients across the full spectrum of acute and chronic illness. Her clinical career began in Emergency Medicine, where she cared for individuals in critical moments—an experience that taught her decisive action and deepened her curiosity about the underlying causes of disease. In 2020, that curiosity became deeply personal. Dr. Towle experienced a severe post-viral syndrome following COVID-19 that left her grappling with unexplained fatigue, brain fog, and recurrent infections. Standard medical testing offered few answers, but her symptoms were very real. Determined to understand and overcome her condition, she immersed herself in emerging research and advanced clinical paradigms. This journey led her to pursue and earn Functional Medicine Certification through the Institute for Functional Medicine, expanding her clinical toolkit to include systems-based, root-cause assessment and intervention. Applying a comprehensive, individualized approach that included nutrition optimization, microbiome support, mitochondrial function enhancement, and targeted immune retraining, Dr. Towle regained her health. That experience reshaped her practice and fueled her passion for medicine that looks upstream, listens deeply, and treats each person as a complex, interconnected system. She has earned her Functional Medicine certification through the Institute for Functional Medicine. At MedLogic, Dr. Towle brings that same blend of scientific rigor, clinical experience, and compassionate care to every patient encounter. She believes in empowering individuals to understand their own biology, reduce unnecessary medication, and pursue durable health through evidence-based lifestyle and therapeutic strategies. She continues to maintain skills in Emergency Medicine, ensuring her clinical perspective remains sharp across both acute care and longitudinal health management. Dr. Towle is dedicated to partnering with patients who are ready to move beyond symptom management and toward lasting wellness and resilience. She believes that healing occurs when the body’s inherent intelligence is supported, not suppressed. She lives in the northern suburbs of Chicago with her family and is honored to help her community thrive.
Dr. Jennifer Ron brings a rare and deeply meaningful perspective to cancer care—as a double board-certified physician in Emergency Medicine and Integrative Medicine, formally trained in naturopathic oncology, and as a cancer survivor who has personally walked the cancer journey. She is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians (FACEP) and board-certified by the American Board of Integrative Medicine (ABOIM). Her background in emergency medicine gives her a strong foundation in conventional, evidence-based care, while her integrative training allows her to thoughtfully incorporate supportive and complementary therapies alongside standard oncology treatment. Dr. Ron’s clinical approach blends the science of oncology with the art of healing. She partners with patients and their oncology teams to deliver evidence-informed, patient-centered integrative cancer care focused on: optimizing metabolic and immune health, reducing treatment-related side effects, supporting resilience, energy, and quality of life, and improving the overall therapeutic experience across the cancer continuum. What truly distinguishes Dr. Ron’s work is her ability to integrate clinical expertise with lived experience. As someone who has navigated cancer personally, she understands the physical, emotional, and practical challenges patients face—bringing an uncommon depth of empathy, clarity, and advocacy to every consultation. Her personalized and comprehensive model of care emphasizes transforming the body’s metabolic terrain, supporting healing capacity, and empowering patients with a practical, individualized integrative medicine toolbox. Each care plan is designed to complement conventional cancer therapies—not replace them—while helping patients remain active participants in their healing process. Together, Dr. Ron and her team guide patients through diagnosis, treatment, recovery, and survivorship with a focus on strength, hope, vitality, and informed decision-making—so patients can move through their cancer journey supported, understood, and empowered at every stage.
